You spent the week playing in your "play gym" swinging and batting the toys dangling in front of you while trying to swallow them whole if you catch one and get it in the vicinity of your mouth. We went on walks around the neighborhood in your stroller and also wrapped-up like a papoose in our baby wrap carrier, which you love.
You are rolling over left and right (well, mostly just left) especially in your crib, where you pretend to sleep for as few hours a day as you can finagle. That brings me to the sleep update, Mister. This past month you decided to remind your parents just what sort of power you yield and you are up a couple times (sometimes more) a night. But that's okay Sugar Pie. We'll get our payback when you are 16 and your father wakes you up at 7 a.m. on a Saturday to get started on yard work.
You are great at Tummy Time these days and really don't mind playing on your belly for a little while. You are able to reach for toys and we read books together while you are getting your workout. Your little muscles are itching to start crawling as lately you've been pushing up on your knees and sometimes you seem to scoot in a forward direction. Watch out world.
Your favorite songs are "Itsy Bity Spider" and "Old McDonald" and you love reading Wild Animals and Good Night Moon with your daddy at bedtime. Your favorite toy is Pepé the Puppy.
Life is good, baby boy, and your daddy and I feel so lucky to have you in our life. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next month. I know I won't be disappointed! Love, Mama and Daddy
my goodness. Wes you are quite the story teller!! And getting SO big! Can't wait to see you (soon, I hope!). P.S. Please take it easy on your parents at night - that yard work will be rough some day :)
