Summer Vacation 2013: In the sand

We made it to Michigan!  The weather is absolutely beautiful: nice and summery, but not too hot.  Most importantly, we made it to The Lake and the beach, which Wes has been asking about since we mentioned we were going to visit a lake and a beach.

Woo Hoo!  But before we got there, we did have a handful of hours to drive.  Here's a few pics from our rest stop/lunch break.

Next came the nap, then came the Chicago traffic, then came New Buffalo and finally, relaxation.

We are a little short on time and sleep, so that's all for now.  Until tomorrow friends and family!
